The traditional Kaparot ritual with chickens, customarily performed between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, will be available at the following location:
Next to Agri Star
220 West Street, Postville, Iowa
Where to Find the Kaparot Station
As you approach Agri Star, before making the right turn into Agri Star, look to your right, by the garages. The Kaparot station will be set up there.
How It Works:
There will be two separate, clearly marked areas with chicken crates: one for unused chickens and one for chickens after Kaparot.
1. UNUSED CHICKENS
Take a chicken from this side to perform Kaparot.
2. USED CHICKENS
After you have completed Kaparot, place the chicken on this side.
Please do not return a used chicken to the unused side.
